I know it’s been three years since I’ve left everyone hanging on the Garrett house. I know, I should have gotten all of the “after” pictures posted once we had the open house but my son got married two months later and my daughter started building her own house a month after that and life just seemed to get in the way. So I’m just going to say I’m fashionably late in posting! Anyway, I hope you enjoy perusing the photos of the Garrett house transformation. By the way, the house sold only two days after we put it on the market! We were praying profusely God would answer our prayers to let it sell quickly and he graciously answered those prayers.
If you’d like to hear more detail about how my daughter, Elise, ended up heading up the renovations on this house you can check out the other blog posts on the Building Strong Homes blog or listen to the Building Strong Homes podcast episode with Elise Roper. It’s a compelling story about how God brought healing into her life through doing this renovation after her fiancé broke off their engagement and shattered her plans for the future. you can listen to it here: How a 133 Year Old House Brought Healing to a Broken Heart with Elise Roper.
Also, if you haven’t seen the before pictures you can check out the video here.
Beautiful Y’all did a great job. I remember the pictures about when you were taking it apart and now it is so beautiful. You are so Blessed and so is Carol. I Love Y’all and may Jesus always be with you
Thanks so much Annette! We certainly are blessed! Love you too!
Great podcast with your daughter Elise! I loved seeing her progress when she was remodeling. I was very impressed and enjoy seeing the photos again.
Thank you Daphne! It’s fun looking back on everything we were able to do with the house!
