Why I Started This Podcast and Announcing the Building Strong Homes Live Event with Carol Roper

Have you ever thought to yourself, ” Why in the world would Carol Roper start a podcast?”. Well, today’s episode is a lot different than all of my other podcast episodes. I’m sharing my journey on how I started this podcast, and all of the twists and turns God took me on to get here. When I started writing ten years ago, I never would have guessed I’d end up starting a podcast. But through a series of circumstances, I felt God leading me to reach more people-especially those in my community-through podcasting. It’s been an intimidating journey because I’m so technologically challenged (ask my kids!), but God has helped me every step of the way. I also talk about why I stopped my job drawing house plans and committed to giving that time to the podcast instead. I hope my story will encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and do the things God is calling you to do as well (because God is always calling us to do something!).

Also, I’m excited to be announcing our first-ever Building Strong Homes Live Hometown Event! This is something God laid on my heart a few months ago and can’t wait to tell you all about it! Get your tickets now because seating is very limited. I can’t wait to see you there! Find all of the details here!
