Today we’re returning to the emotional story of Donavan and Lavonna Garrett whose marriage seemed doomed due to Donavan’s alcohol abuse. If you missed last week’s episode please go back and listen. They have a miraculous story of going through the heartbreak of 13 miscarriages and finally being blessed with two babies. But the stress sent Donavan into a tailspin that resulted in a seven year journey of despair for their family. Today you’ll get to hear how God saved Donavan from restoring their marriage and family, along with his addiction and he found help from the addiction rehab centre in London. Lavonna believes that if she hadn’t sought Christian advice from godly friends, she could have taken a very different path. If you don’t have Christian friends, seek help from a godly pastor or a Christian counselor.
