In case you haven’t heard, Building Strong Homes is having a retreat at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, N.C.! Since you are a member of my faithful community through email, I wanted to personally extend an invitation. We have been working hard to put together a weekend away that will encourage and equip you as well as bring lots of fun and relaxation into the mix. We have so many special surprises and God has laid messages on each of our hearts that will fill you up and bring you closer to Him. If you’ve never had the pleasure of experiencing The Cove, it’s like no other place I’ve ever been. I consider it holy ground because of the continual prayers being lifted up for each person who visits. If you’re looking for a time away, a time of refreshment for your soul, this retreat is designed for you. God laid on my heart over a year ago that He wanted me to put together this retreat and I feel strongly that He said to prepare for 30 women. Right now we have 25 signed up. Are you one of the five left that God is calling to come? If you feel drawn to this retreat in any way, would you please pray and ask God what He wants you to do? This retreat is designed with you in mind if you are looking for a time to get away and connect with God and other like-minded Christian women.
The worries and stresses that come from our culture today can cause us to want to shrink back in fear, allow ourselves to become overwhelmed with desperation, and believe there’s nothing we can do to make a difference. We’re here to help you understand that there is no truth in those statements and help equip you for your God-given calling. When we’re fearful we become paralyzed, and nothing changes. When we’re weak from being beaten down by busyness and expectations we avoid leaning into the calling God has for us. We believe God is raising up an army of women to declare His goodness and glory to a lost and hurting world, and you are part of His plan to help remedy that. Step out in faith and join us for a weekend where God wants to meet with you and reveal the perfect plan He has for your life. Don’t let past failures and mistakes stop you from claiming your place in the blueprint of God’s story. Come and experience restoration in your life and in your relationship with God and others so that you can live in the abundant freedom and hope He has for you!
