In today’s episode Kirby King shares the difficult story of finding out about her husband’s six-month long affair when she’d been married 34 years. Kirby decided to forgive him and hold onto her marriage, but after he kept going back to his mistress time and again she knew she could no longer be the peace keeper. Even though Kirby did everything she could to make her marriage work, it didn’t turn out the way she wanted. But she shares how God is writing a new story for her and how she was able to let go of the bitterness toward her ex-husband.
She also talks about her third child being born with Down Syndrome and her struggle coming to grips with that and how her now 29 year-old Down Syndrome son is about to be married. Such an exciting story! Kirby is an optimist and her passion in life is to teach people how to run to Jesus. You will walk away from this conversation encouraged in whatever situation you may be facing today.
